One-Pan Taco Skillet

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (or 2 tbsp homemade taco seasoning)
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup corn kernels (fresh, canned, or frozen)
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)


Instructions:

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef or turkey until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat if needed.
  2. Add taco seasoning to the meat, stirring to coat.
  3. Stir in black beans, corn, and diced tomatoes (with their juices). Cook for 5-7 minutes until everything is heated through and well combined.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top, cover the skillet, and let cook until the cheese is melted.


Serve: Enjoy with tortillas, on top of microwaved rice, or as a filling for tacos or burritos!
