Convection Oven Roasted Chickpeas

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp additional seasoning of choice (curry powder, paprika, garlic powder, or smoked paprika)


Instructions:

  1. Preheat the convection oven to 400°F.
  2. Pat the chickpeas dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  3. In a bowl, toss the chickpeas with olive oil, salt, pepper, and your chosen seasoning(s) until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Roast in the convection oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.


Serve: Enjoy these roasted chickpeas as a crunchy snack or as a flavorful topping for salads!
