Cast Iron Skillet Pizza

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb pre-made pizza dough
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6-8 slices pepperoni
  • Optional: Other toppings of your choice (sliced bell peppers, mushrooms, olives, etc.)


Instructions:

  1. Roll out the pizza dough to fit the size of your cast iron skillet.
  2. Preheat the skillet over low heat. Place the rolled-out dough in the hot skillet.
  3. Spread marinara sauce over the dough, then sprinkle with shredded cheese and arrange pepperoni slices and any additional toppings on top.
  4. Cover the skillet with a lid or foil, and cook on low heat for 8-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, toppings are hot, and the crust is golden and cooked through.
